Towards Zero
For US fans, TZ will be on Mystery! on 7/15/07 on your local PBS. Assuming Mystery! shows consistenty, but I am fairly sure it does. Alan plays the copper. s |

So here I am replying to myself again (honestly, I do have friends!). Alan unlike anything else I have seen him in (and I think I've seen it all except for The Brief and the other series, about the affairs and all)----he's rather interestingly geeky, albeit handsomely so. Good suit looks! Hair very much tamed. This is not a Creeky-look by any means. So many 'tecs on shows come across as the stupid ones, while the amateur solves right past them. Not so, although I kept expecting Marple to one up him. I enjoyed the portrayal of a detective seemingly just coming on to his game, getting sort of a realization of it----"hey! I can do this! (I think)!" sort of feeling. Alan seemed like he was having fun in this one. s |

I think i may have to come over to the states to live....you seem to get much better programmes than we do!!!(although maybe on second thoughts Helen's idea of buying the D.V.D. is a cheaper option.) |

Yeah,but if I go to the states I get to escape the rain into the bargain! Hope things are looking up,Helen, and if you need someone to hold your camera next time you're in the green room............
