CREGGAN HISTORY SOCIETY - MESSAGE BOARD

Welcome to our Message Board

This Message Board has been provided at the suggestion of one of our American web-site visitors who thought it would be a good way for long lost relatives from the Creggan and adjacent areas to make connect with each other.

It is also a useful way for people to ask questions about the history and environment of the South Armagh area, with the prospect of someone being able to provide a helpful response or to comment on any aspect of local history and society.

The content will be monitored and the Society will remove any material which is judged to be inappropriate or not in the spirit of a local history society.

So feel free to leave a message.

Clohoge

My ancestors, Robert Grenville Wallace( 1786-1851)and Joseph Donaldson lived in Clohoge; Robert in the Lodge itself. His daughter Harriet married Joseph's son William and they came to New Brunswick,Canada in 1839.

I would dearly love to hear from anyone who knows about this family and their descendants, or even the local history.

Thank you
