PLEASE READ

Please limit post to items of general interest concerning BUSHTEC and/or BUSHTEC related items. Any post NOT related to BUSHTEC and/or BUSHTEC related items WILL BE REMOVED unless cleared personally by John Preston, Bushtec CEO.

Questions not of general interest such as posts to specific individuals at Bushtec with individual specific item/product issues or concerns (such as "Hey John, when can I pick up my trailer?"), should NOT be posted in the FORUM but should be directed to the factory either via email or telephone (423-562-9900).

Subject:   Re: Mounting Spare Tire

Message:   Putting the spare outside the trailer exposed it to the elements, reducing its serviceable life, exposes it to theft as well. While it is possible to mount the spare on the tongue, it cannot be placed on the tongue with the cooler package. Since the wheel/tire requires such a small cargo volume, most customers leave it inside the trailer to eliminate the issues I pointed out.
