Message:   I had the same issue but ended up making a new hitch to replace the ball hitch. I used Flat stock and bent it into a U shape which just fit along each side of the tongue. I then drilled the end and welded a nut to it which fit a heim joint I picked up from an industrial parts store. By putting a locking nut on the end of the heim joint it allows the joint to swivel over 360 degrees in addition to the movement of the joint itself. Easy to make and works well with the pin style hitch. Cost was about $20. Check back with me in a few days as I may have a ball hitch coming availabe off an 07 ultra with a bushtec hitch.
