Message:   I know John and crew are working their tails off at Wing Ding this week but I suspect he'll give you more details than I can. However, I think you want to make sure the air line and shocks are in working order. Hopefully the person you're buying it from has a small pump to add air and you can check them out. Once inflated, move the trailer back and forth and make sure it seems to hold air and that the tires are brought to vertical. Pick the trailer up and drop it (it won't hurt it). Make sure they hold air. Also, take a look underneath at the suspension bars and check for excessive wear. Also, pick up the side of the trailer and spin the wheels to make sure they are turning freely. If you really want to check them out, remove the wheens and slip your finger in the middle and spin each wheel, feeling for any roughness or binding that might indicate a bad bearing. Make sure the sleeve for the hitch pin moves freely and look for signs that it has been lubricated. Other than that, just the general things you check such as tires, lights, etc.

Hope that helps. However, if you do find small things, you might have John give it a good going over (which he probably will anyway) when you have him repaint it. You got yourself a great trailer. Enjoy!
